Major details of the Permanent Residency program.

  • Investment in residential property/ies (excluding re-sale) an amount of at least €300,000 (plus VAT).
  • Should be deriving from abroad.
  • The applicant can invest in up to two (2) units.
  • Life-long validity without the need for renewal.
  • Granted to all family members including children and parents from both sides of the family.
  • Non-residency requirements other than to visit Cyprus once every two years, unlike other European member-states, which insist on residency for at least 3 months per year.
The Immigration Permit granted to the principal applicant also encompasses their spouse and minor children. To extend these benefits to other family members, separate applications are required:
  • Unmarried adult children between 18 and 25 years old who are currently enrolled in educational institutions abroad and financially reliant on the principal applicant are eligible to apply.
  • Financially independent adult children may also apply. In cases where these adult children seek to acquire a Permanent Residence Permit, the principal applicant must increase their investment proportionally to the number of such children. These adult children must demonstrate an independent, secure annual income of no less than €50,000. This income threshold is subject to increase based on the number and category of their dependent family members included in the application, as detailed below:
- An additional €15,000 for a spouse.
- An additional €10,000 for each minor child.
